Today I am very excited to announce that I have participated in my very first mani swap with Michelle of Le Lacquer Hookup! I've never done one of these before so I'm a little nervous but it was fun nonetheless! Keep reading to learn more!
I met Michelle at school a few years ago and soon realized she was just as addicted as I was to all things polish, if not more so! She's super fun and quirky and almost always influenced by beautiful classy things when it comes to nails and nail art (and everything in general). I was so honored that she asked me to do this with her! Michelle's original mani was inspired by a design by I Scream Nails - ice cream drops! This certainly reminds me of Dippin' Dots, so yum!
To recreate Michelle's design, I just did a dot gradient using some pastel polishes (I didn't have the exact colors she used but I came pretty close). Then I topped with some nice sparkly glitter just like she did.
I don't usually do designs like this, but I really like the way this one turned out! I also have a newfound love for OPI Care to Danse? because omg it's so lovely. Head on over to Michelle's blog to check out her take on one of my glitter placement manis, she did an AMAZING job!!!
