Pretty Purple n Yellow

Hey, everyone!

Sorry I've been MIA lately... it's been a pretty stressful/chaotic last couple weeks for me. But I think things are starting to get better, so that's good! So here's some nails I did a couple of weeks ago but never got around to posting. Keep reading to learn more!

First of all, I have some kind of bittersweet news. I'm unemployed once again... yeah. As much as I loved my new coworkers and the company I recently started working for, there was just something about the job that made me feel incredibly anxious and stressed. Even to the point of having panic attacks on a nearly daily basis. I wish it could have worked out, but it seems like this just wasn't a good fit for me, and I know there's more great opportunities waiting out there for me! So for now I'll keep looking for a new job and see where life takes me.

On to the nail art! I've been wanting to stamp with a holo polish again since I tried my Holographic Houndstooth nail art. So I grabbed some lovely purple polishes and a stamping plate and went to town! I started with two coats of Orly Wild Wisteria on all nails but my ring finger, on which I used two coats of Color Club Eternal Beauty. Then I used MoYou London Kaleidoscope plate #10 and Eternal Beauty to stamp a design near the cuticle on each of my nails. On my ring finger, I used Sally Hansen Lightning and OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-go? to create a stamped gradient. I topped all nails with Seche Vite as usual.

Materials Used
Orly Wild Wisteria
Color Club Eternal Beauty
Sally Hansen Lightning
OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-go?
MoYou London Kaleidoscope #10

So there ya go. I liked these okay, I just don't wear purple very often I guess. And sorry for pic inconsistencies. The super dark purple of Wild Wisteria really threw off my camera for some reason. Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

  1. Wonderful mani! And as I told you before, things will get better. It was your first "real" job so things can be very difficult and stressful. Chin up! :) <3
