Merry Christmas to All!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I actually managed to take better pictures of my Christmas nails this year, and I'm actually posting them ON Christmas and not 5 months after the fact like last year! Keep reading to find out about this sparkly awesome design!

For my Christmas Day mani this year, I knew I wanted to use my recently purchased KBShimmer Kringle All the Way again. I first used it in this mani that I wore a week or so ago, and it's such a fantastic holiday polish! This time, though, I wanted to use it over a red base color to see how it compares to being used over a green one. I can't decide which combo I like more! I did use less of the glitter polish in this design than the last one, though, and I think I like the sparser look better.

I started off with two coats of Orly Red Flare (which I think is my favorite red polish ever!) on all fingers, and then used a makeup sponge to apply Kringle All the Way on all nails except my ring finger. Then I carefully placed red, clear, and green rhinestones in rows on my ring finger using some topcoat, starting with the middle row of red and working my way out so it all fit together nicely. I then used white polish to stamp a holiday sweater design from Winstonia stamping plate W120 onto my index fingers. I applied a generous layer of topcoat to all fingers, cleaned up around my cuticles, and BOOM, BLINGY CHRISTMAS NAILS! I really really love how these turned out, even the unintentional ruffian on my ring finger. And with all the rhinestones covered in topcoat, they kind of feel like scales or reptile skin when I run my other fingers over them. Pretty cool!

I'm going to really hate to take these off, I must admit. I may not usually be a very sparkly person, but sometimes when I get in the mood, I just can't shake it, and this mani is the result of one of those moods! Anyway, I hope all of you have an amazing Christmas with friends and family and what-have-you! Merry Christmas, my lovelies!

  1. You should get in this mood more often! I am loving this blingy design! And once again regretting not buying Kringle All The Way. Let's see if I can keep myself from going to buy it right this minute. <3

    1. Thanks so much! I ended up enjoying the bling way more than I expected so maybe I'll have to do it again soon ;-) And yes, I don't know how I survived the holidays until I had this wonderful glitter topper, it's so perfect!
