Rainy Rainy Rain

Hey, everyone! Northern California has been getting quite a bit of rain lately (YAY!), so I felt compelled to do these rainy day nails. Keep reading to find out how I did it!

Since California has been suffering from a pretty bad drought most of the year, it's nice to finally have some substantial rainfall. However, storms can be rough and as I'm writing this post, my area is expecting the worst storm in about 6 years to hit tonight and last through most of the day tomorrow. Yikes!

For this mani, I started with two coats of Sinful Colors Rainstorm on my index, ring, and pinky fingers and two coats of Maybelline Audacious Asphalt on my thumb and middle finger. When those were dry, I used the saran wrap technique to apply Sally Hansen Cobalt Chrome on all fingers, and then the same technique to apply Audacious Asphalt to my thumb and middle finger. Once dry, I stamped the clouds and umbrella images from Winstonia stamping plate W113 using OPI I Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw. Finished with Seche Vite as always, and done!

Materials Used
Maybelline Audacious Asphalt
Sally Hansen Cobalt Chrome
Sinful Colors Rainstorm
OPI Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw
Stamping plate W113

I reeeeally enjoyed how this turned out, although I did have to play with color layerings a bit to get it to work. Anyway, I hope everyone who is in Nor Cal was able to stay safe during this crazy storm! Thanks for stopping by!
