Jojo's Bizarre Adventure!!!

Hey, everyone!

The idea for today's mani has been sitting in my little idea journal for a few months now and I'm SO glad I finally got around to doing it. This nail art is inspired by one of my all-time favorite animes, which is called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Keep reading to find out more!

Why do I love this insane little anime? Well for one thing, it's hilarious. There are so many strange and indeed bizarre events that occur throughout the series that it's hard not to love it. And the characters (at least the good guys) are really lovable and pretty badass. And the fight scenes! Really cool, and it's very dynamic throughout the series overall.

I got the above images from Google to show you some examples of my inspiration. The guy in the upper left is Joseph Joestar (aka Jojo), my favorite of the three Joestar protagonists in the series. He's a nutcase and I love him to bits. So I chose to recreate his scarf on my index finger. The dude in the upper right corner is Caesar Zeppeli, Joseph's friend and another really cool guy. I decided to recreate his headband on my ring finger. And the funky yellow hiragana on all my other nails is essentially the Japanese onomatopoeia for *menacing*, they use it in the show whenever something sinister is about to happen.

To start off my design, I created a gradient on all of my nails using Revlon Plum Seduction and OPI Casino Royale. I handpainted the hiragana using my detail brush and Sally Hansen Lightning. For the scarf, I used China Glaze Grape Pop and Sinful Colors Endless Blue. And for Caesar's headband, I created a stamping decal (which I cut into strips) using the stamping plate hēhē 082 and OPI Planks a Lot and a mix of Lightning and Sinful Colors Clementine

Wanna see a perfect example of how strange and fantastic Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is? Watch my favorite intro below!
