Hey, everyone!
I have some more stickers to share with you today, and they're pretty magical! Keep reading for more info!
It was a bit tricky to photograph this sheet of stickers because it was so dang shiny, but I hope you can see how rad the cool toned shifts are! These are made of a clear material that tends to lean cool on light surfaces and warm on dark ones, so you can get all sorts of looks and colors from this one sheet of stickers!
I wanted to do a simple design to go with these, so I used some chevron nail guides (from somewhere on eBay about 6 years ago) to do a black chevron tip on all of my nails. The rest of my nail is just negative space. At the apex of each chevron, I placed one of the stickers half on the black and half off so I could see the difference the base color makes. And what a difference! I tried to angle the light as best as I could for a few pics so you could see the difference the base color and lighting angle makes with these stickers.
I would advise users of these stickers to use two coats of topcoat on them, or perhaps a gel topcoat, so that the edges of the stickers really stay sealed in place. The squarish rectangles especially seemed to want to peel at the corners unless I did some double duty on them.
Materials Used
Sally Hansen Black Out
Chevron nail guides
BPS iridescent stickers
Overall I really like these stickers! They're funky and offer a lot of possibilities as far as looks go! If you're interested in them, be sure and use my coupon code below for a discount! Thanks for stopping by!
