Born Pretty Store has revamped their polish bottles once again, and the new design does not disappoint! I was given the opportunity to review the new bottle ahead of the release, and (even though I've been swamped and have just now gotten around to it) I LOVE IT! It's cute, stylish, and really quite adorable!
Each new bottle is 6mL in size, so a bit smaller than most standard nail polishes. The cost of each bottle depends on the polish you're purchasing, which I'll get to in a moment. The handle/lid is slightly rubberized, which makes it really easy for opening. Each bottle also comes in a box that lists the ingredients on the back. I've always been curious how BPS formulas compare with other brands, and now I can really compare them! I really appreciate that addition especially!
This particular bottle that I was sent to review contained a polish from their new Magnetic Aurora line - that means the polish is multichrome and magnetic! I was specifically sent BP-MA02 "Lightning". The polishes in this series retail for currently $5.39 and can be found HERE. Other polishes in these new bottles look like they retail for slightly less, which makes sense given that this is a sort of specialty finish in the Magnetic Aurora series. "Lightning" has a really cool shift of color from a brickish red, through olive green, and even teal at extreme angles. I applied a medium coat over black for this look and used a very old China Glaze magnet to get these stripes, but I love the way this polish looks!
I know this might sound a bit sappy, but I am so proud to have watched Born Pretty Store grow as much as it has through the years and become such a successful company!
