Hey, everyone!
I'm very pleased to bring you my first review post sponsored by Born Pretty Store! I was approached by them a little over a month ago and I was overjoyed, so here goes! Keep reading to find out more!
For this manicure, I started with two coats of OPI My Very First Knockwurst on all my nails, which is quickly becoming my favorite nude polish. After that was dry, I applied a thin coat of Fair Maiden Polish Fairy Godmother and while it was still tacky added some Twinkled T black holo hex glitter (which I reviewed here). Next, I cut out three designs that I wanted to use and removed the plastic film. I submerged them in a small container of water for about 20 seconds, and then slid the images off onto my nails. I sealed all of my nails with Seche Vite topcoat.
The images do seem to have a white base to them so that the colors are opaque over the base polish, so that was nice to discover! I was a little afraid they'd be super sheer, but they aren't! I might have to experiment over a darker color... if I do I'll be sure to link to it in this post. I really love how sweet and charming all of the images are on this sheet. When I run out I definitely think I'll buy at least one more sheet of these! I'm beginning to love water decals more and more - they're just so easy to use!
