Born Pretty Store Review: Laser Powder!

*Provided for honest review*

Hey, everyone!

I have a fantastic review to share with you today! Yes, it's another Born Pretty Store review, but this product seriously blew me away! Keep reading to find our more about this amazing "laser powder!"

This product is called the Holographic Laser Powder from Born Pretty Store, and it can be found HERE for currently $7.99 per 1 gram container (normally $15.99). Right off the bat, I loved the container! As you can see above, it's a pretty little faceted container that reminds me of a gem. I think this is a fantastic affordable alternative to some of the higher end brands of holographic powder, which is amazing! As for the application of this powder, I applied it over a cured no-wipe gel topcoat, just like the chrome powder from Born Pretty Store. I was seriously blown away by this powder, you guys. Pictures are great, but only videos come close to doing it justice, so here's some videos!

When I first tried it out, I applied it over two coats of Urban Outfitters Tiny Shorts, a bright neon orange polish. It did mute the orange a bit, but in person it was still quite vivid. Just check it out! This is in direct light from my phone's flashlight.

I also applied it over plain black polish, and in the direct natural sunlight it simply took my breath away! This was very distracting while driving, too, no joke...

One thing I wanted to do in my review for this incredible powder is compare it to the holographic polishes in my collection. In the picture below, from left to right, I have on: two coats of Color Club Harp On It, two coats of Nfu Oh 061 (definitely my strongest holo polish), one layer of Born Pretty Store Laser Powder over Tiny Shorts, and one coat of Fair Maiden Polish Fairy Godmother over Tiny Shorts. As you can clearly see, the Laser Powder has an incredibly strong flame! It simply blows the other polishes away!

One thing I noticed with this is that it doesn't matter what topcoat you use over this powder, I don't think. I used my regular ol' Seche Vite and if anything, it might have made the holo stand out a bit more! Oh, and here's another video using the light on my phone of this little comparison.

So what do you think of this mega-holo trend? Is it better than the chrome fashion, or not so much? I personally LOVE it! Let me know what you think below! And remember to use the coupon code below on your next order from Born Pretty Store. Thanks for stopping by!
