Born Pretty Store Review: Temporary Cuticle Tattoos

*Provided for honest review*

Hey, everyone!

I have another Born Pretty Store review to share with you today! This one is a bit different from the others I've done, but I was pretty excited to try this product nonetheless! Keep reading to find out more!

The name of this item is 1 Sheet Cuticle Tattoo Nail Art Stickers Water Transfer Temporary Decals Lace Flower Patterns in design NCT-006, and can be found here for currently $2.46. Each sheet comes with 10 different pairs of temporary tattoos in varying sizes, for a total of 20 individual temporary tattoos. This way there's lots of sizing options!

Before I move on the the nail art with these, I will share my experience with this product. After cutting out the appropriate sized design for your finger, you simply apply it like any other temporary tattoo. I did this by wetting a cotton ball with water and, after placing the design with the paper backing facing up on my cuticle, I applied light pressure with the damp cotton ball to the back of the design for about 25-30 seconds. After this I carefully peeled away the paper backing and the design stayed on my skin. I do wish there was some kind of grid or design outline on the back to help line up a little better, though. I think next time I will try to line up the design closer to my cuticle because it was just barely on my knuckle and, since knuckles tend to bend a lot, this led to a pretty quick destruction of the design. I applied these at about 2pm and by 9pm of the same day they had all worn off! Oh well, they were fun while they lasted!

For my nail art I painted two coats of China Glaze Cross Iron 360 on all of my nails, followed by a thin coat of Jade Uau!, which is a super holographic orange polish. When those were dry I stamped a design in black using MoYou London Kaleidoscope plate #10. This image matched the cuticle tattoos so well, I thought! After sealing all my nails with topcoat, I applied the cuticle tattoos as I described above.

So what do you think? I've slowly started seeing these cuticle tattoos pop up in different places and I think I like them! They'd definitely be fun for a special night out or a costume, although obviously they don't hold up well enough to last more than a day or so.
